I am enjoying my winter and I hope you all are too. Lots of hot cocoa and marshmallows these days! I have been busy doing some fine art and happily booking spring sessions.

As the year draws to a close, I wanted to thank each and every one of you. I am so thankful to have a job I love and to share beautiful moments with you. To create cherished memories that you can hang on your wall is a blessing to me and fills my heart.

I also want to take this moment to tell you to want more this Christmas season.

More love, more laughter, more time with the people you love. Breath it all in and cherish every minute – even those temper tantrums and difficult moments if we did not have those how would we ever know how blessed we really are!

It all goes by so quickly, open your eyes look around and see how much MORE you really have.

Happy growing up!

Love it or hate it (I am neutral, it was a gift!) the children’s book _Love you Forever_ was a big part of my son’s babyhood. He loved to hear that story over and over along with _Where the Wild Things Are_

Another big part of his babyhood were a pair of tiny overall’s. I was trying to save this shot until next month when he turns 20. You read that right – twenty. Twenty seems so much older.

He’s in the process of moving out – into an actual house and that struck me today so here it is.

I guess I need to go check my ladder…just kidding I am scared of heights and could never climb it!

Friendship

I am not a writer, I am a photographer so my pictures speak for me. I have a hard time coming up with words, I hope my photographs speak for me.

Friendship has been on my mind so I thought I would share this one that I shot last week when two little girls joined hands. Simple. Just like that.

I struggle with how much personal information to share on this – my photography blog. Then I wonder how much more personal can I get? Every photo I take every click of my shutter has some meaning to me.

Two families I know have important dates coming up and they are on my mind and sometimes heavy on my heart. My own family has had a moment that stopped us all in our tracks. Out of all that? Hope is what we have.
