Everything is

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

making lemonade

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
~Marianne Williamson

Some things are more than what you say, they're what you do.

Today I decided to make lemonade.

There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. ~Author Unknown

remember me when I was small

Sometimes just one sneak peek isn't enough ;)

I love how tiny and precious Miss C is in the arms of her sister. It goes so quickly.

the meaning of life

The End of another school year

To learn and never be filled, is wisdom; to teach and never be weary, is love.
~unknown

I have been looking for quotes about teaching and teachers as the year comes to an end. I finally found one that fits our teacher this year.

We were blessed this year with one of those fantastic teachers and I have been trying to come up with an adequate thank you and quite frankly I can't :) so I settled on taking portraits of her children.

Thank you Jessica for all your hard work, your patience, your genuine understanding, and your absolute love of what you do. You are appreciated and you completely rock. Any child that happens to get assigned to you is a very lucky child indeed.

much love,
